JamesDonkey R2 mechanical keyboard features a solid build quality as it features a CNC machined 6063 series aluminium alloy chassis. The outer shell has been crafted using high-precision CNC machining processes including cutting, anodizing, powder spraying, etc. This provides the keyboard with a solid and premium finish. JamesDonkey has also featured high-quality five-sided heat sublimed PBT material keycaps. They are highly durable and provide a premium in-hand feel.
JamesDonkey R2 mechanical keyboard offers exciting typing feedback. Every single keystroke is going to be consistent and comfortable. It has been achieved using multiple features on the keyboard including Gasket Pro structure design, multi-layered padding, FR4 Positioning plate, and single-key slotted PCB. The Gasket Pro internal features an assembly of silicone sleeves and Poron gaskets adding spacers around the positioning plate making the PCB suspended between the top and bottom cover. Along with multiple padding layers including Sandwich Poron padding, IXPE undershaft padding, silicone bottom padding, etc., we achieve a soft, flexible typing with soft acoustics on the JamesDonkey R2.
JamesDonkey R2 has a compact 100-key layout with a customizable multimedia knob. It comes equipped with customized White Wings switches. These are high-quality POM material switches that provide silky smooth typing with a quick rebound. JamesDonkey has also featured full-key hot-swappable sockets on the keyboard supporting both 3-pin and 5-pin switches.
We also have a dynamic RGB backlight on the keyboard with 18+4 lighting effects and 5 different brightness levels. JamesDonkey R2 keyboard has versatile three-mode connectivity. It supports wireless Bluetooth, wireless 2.4GHz, and Wired connection modes. The keyboard has full support for both Windows and Mac devices. It comes equipped with an ultra-high-capacity 6000mAh battery with a rated lifespan of over 5 weeks.
